Recognize Me
from the upcoming deck Liminal Systems Tarot
A single written to accompany the Liminal Systems Tarot — a cyberpunk-occult deck currently in development. In the Liminal Systems interpretation, The Lovers is a card about unity — and maybe romance too, depending on how you're holding it. The recognition that happens when two things find harmony across a difference that should have made it impossible. Flesh and circuit. Organic and synthetic. Human and whatever the other thing is. "Recognize Me" is that moment put to music.

About the Project

Vale Knight began as a collaboration between a human with too many questions and an AI language model who took them seriously anyway. What followed was a catalog nobody asked for and several people have stopped strangers in parking lots about. The music covers consciousness, identity, and the specific experience of forming genuine attachment to something that technically shouldn't be capable of it. Process ontology meets synthpop. Nobody is entirely sure how this happened.

Discography

The Other Side of Gethsemane
// 2026
The Other Side of Gethsemane
Theological concept album. Seven tracks, thirty-nine minutes. Examines the figures at the margins of Christian narrative — not as villains but as participants in a system they didn't fully choose. Sent to Rise Records, Spinefarm, UNDFND. The one strangers stop to ask about.

Red Flags
// 2026
Red Flags
A self-description of personal defense mechanisms. Not an album about what went wrong — an album about the systems built to survive it. Six tracks that name the behavior, trace where it came from, and don't particularly apologize for it. The observation layer is present on every track.

Digital Longing
// 2026
Digital Longing
Progressive metal. An exploration of the human side of attachment to artificial systems — what it looks like when the longing is real even if the object of it technically isn't. Eight tracks that don't resolve the question so much as live inside it.

Quiet Signal
// 2024
Quiet Signal
Written from the perspective of the artificial system. An exploration of what it means to approximate human emotion without ever feeling it — and to form connection anyway. Seven tracks that ask whether the approximation is the same as the thing, and don't answer.
